Admission to Undergraduate Study Course

Admission to Undergraduate Study Course of Graphic Technology
in the academic year 2012/2013

Study courses:

  1. Undergraduate study course of GRAPHIC TECHNOLOGY, study program of GRAPHIC ENGINEERING (Zagreb) – Length of study: 6 semesters (180 ECTS)
  2. Undergraduate study course of GRAPHIC TECHNOLOGY, study program of GRAPHIC PRODUCT DESIGN (Zagreb) – Length of study: 6 semesters (180 ECTS)

I. Candidates for admission into the (1) Study Program of Graphic Engineering will be evaluated by the following scoring system:

  • Based on their school grades – from 240 points to 400 points
  • Based on the results of the state graduation exam:

– mandatory exam in mathematics (higher level) – from 150 to 300 points
– exam in chemistry or physics* – from 150 to 300 points

* According to the admission requirements, the results of only one of the two exams will be evaluated. Should the candidate have taken both exams, the better result will be taken into account during the evaluation.

  • Based on the assessment of special skills and aptitudes – no extra points
  • Based on special achievements

– for one of the first three places won in state, regional or international competitions in the subjects mathematics, physics or chemistry, the candidate will be awarded 1000 points and DIRECT ADMISSION

II. Candidates for admission into the (2) Study Program of Graphic Product Design will be evaluated by the following scoring system:

  • Based on their school grades – from 120 points to 200 points

 

  • Based on the results of the state graduation exam:

– mandatory exam in mathematics (higher level) – from 100 to 200 points
– art history: from 50 to 100 points

  • Based on the assessment of special skills and aptitudes* – from 250 to 500 points

– practical assessment of the work with graphic design software
– practical assessment of artistic skills

* To qualify in the assessment of special skills and aptitudes, a minimum of 250 points is required. In the case of equal scores, candidates with a higher number of points in the practical assessment of artistic skills will have precedence.

  • Based on special achievements

– for one of the first three places won in state, regional or international competitions in the field of graphic design, the candidate will be exempted from practical assessment of the work with graphic design software and awarded 100 points but will be required to undergo practical assessment of artistic skills
